To continue one of our traditions that we started in our Centennial Year, the annual Ohio Gamma Sig Ep Golf Outing – The Lockwood - will be held on Saturday August 22, 2026. This event is open to both Alumni and Undergraduate Brothers. We had a great time in 2025 so you will not want to miss the event this year. We will be returning to Bent Tree Golf Club this year.

Details are as follows: The Lockwood
Date: Saturday August 22, 2026 – 1pm registration, 2pm Tee Off.
Place: Bent Tree Golf Club, 350 Bent Tree Rd, Sunbury Rd. Ohio, 43074.
Phone – 740-965-5140.
Cost: Alums Golf - $80 per person includes green fees, cart, 2 drink tickets and prizes.
Payment Methods at the outing – Check or Cash ONLY! No credit or debit cards.

We are playing a four man scramble event followed by cash prizes (Bigger this year!) to the winners and beverages in the Club House. If you have particular Brothers that you would like to play with, please indicate their names on the response form. The Golf committee does reserve the right to adjust the teams to insure a balance of skill levels. We will assemble at Bent Tree at 1:00pm, arrange the teams and tee off beginning at 2:00 p.m.

CHANGE this year - To ensure we have a nice balance of Alums & Undergrads we are limiting registration as follows:

  • Alums – Unlimited Alum sign-up. Including Sig Ep Brothers from other colleges.
  • Undergrads – First 18 players who sign up. Excess signups will go on a waiting list.
  • The day before play – If the Undergrads are over-subscribed, I will create a waiting list .If we have sufficient Alum sign-ups, then Undergrads will be added via this list.
  • Undergrads – Each UG gets two (2) free mulligans.
  • Maximum Mulligans per player = 10.
  • Seniors (65+) - May play from the forward tees.
  • Driving Range – Yes there is one & you can use it for free.
  • Parents – Yes, they are most welcome. Cost = $80 & they must register.

Once again we will pay for the undergrads green fees, cart, & rental clubs. NOTE – Bent Tree only has a few sets of rentals so bring some clubs if you can.

To help Undergrads who play, the golf committee is again asking for –

DONATIONS – Our outing’s purpose is to promote Brotherhood & have a good time. Brotherhood between/among Alums & the Undergrads is a key part of this event. To help defer their fees – We are asking our Alumni to donate $20 or more towards this cost. We had good donations last year; and they really made a difference. Your contribution is well worth it & much appreciated.

Your donations matter.

• Buy Mulligans!!! The day of the event at $10 per Mulligan (or include with your event fees.) Maximum Mulligans of 10/player. Just might help your team win the event. Excess funds will be donated to one of the Ohio Gamma Sig Ep Scholarship Funds.
